2007 RS4 with 83000 miles for 36kUSD? did i miss something? is this that car with $15 k worth of drugs in it? the BaT effect? at least there isn’t a thumb covering the license plate for photos.

Looking at BAT, prices are all over the place. A single owner one sold for 26k , but it looks like ones that sold for more had oodles of money dumped into them.

If there’s maintenance records dating back to new, it’s in mechanically perfect shape, and the timing chain has been done already (if it’s had a
hard
87k miles I would expect that they’ve been done or need to be done- the replacement requires engine removal as the chain is on the back of the motor), price is probably about right. However, the seller indicates none of these to be true. Price is about 15k too high, given that.
HFV has no HFV. But somehow has 2 motorcycles

Maybe if it was the elusive manual wagon V8 S4.
There was one for sale in Chicago for like 8 grand a few years ago. I think it had 130,000 miles. I seriously considered ruining my life over it. And I don’t even really like Audis.

My guess is that the current owner has run into financial troubles. I suspect that t hey bought this car when they could barely afford it. If so, the maintenance costs now are completely unaffordable to them. They could shooting for the stars to try to get enough money to cover current expenses.
I don’t think that they understand that if they ask this much, they are not as likely to get real bidders. I wouldn’t be surprised if most of the bidders low-ball.
If my theory is right, there is likely a lot of deferred maintenance waiting to be done on this car. If there are no maintenance records, forget it. An old Audi is not a car to be bought online without a good pre- purchase inspection.
